Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Record information on products inspected. Assemble prefabricated parts and sections of fibreglass, metal or other materials to form boats. Clean work area. Install trims, rudders, seats, engine mounts and other accessories. Repair boats. Inspect assembled boats for defects and conformance to quality standards. Mark defects to be repaired. Operate machine to fabricate parts and products. Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools. Screw, clip, glue, bond, weld or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products. Cut, shape and fit materials to form parts and components. Type of materials: Fibreglass. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
