Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex. Various locations. Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform minor repairs on appliances. Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture. Dust furniture. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks.
