Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Offshore drilling rig. Tasks: Train and supervise floorhands, assistants and helpers. Attach pumps and hoses to wellhead. Operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps. Write daily basic progress reports. Operate hydraulic pumping systems. Record mud flows and volumes and take samples. Operate and maintain drilling rig diesel motors, transmissions and other mechanical equipment. Read gauges to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedure. Assist in setting up, taking down and transporting drilling and service rigs. Mix chemicals and cements. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Health benefits: Dental plan. Health care plan.
