Education: Bachelor's degree. Food science. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Cold/refrigerated. Tasks: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards at all stages of the food production process. Conduct quality audits and develop quality management and quality assurance standards. Computer and technology knowledge: HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge. Area of work experience: Quality assurance or control. Regulations knowledge: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Organized. Team player. Experience: 5 years or more.
