Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brake (Z) Endorsement. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports. Trip reports. Maintenance and repair reports. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Driver logbook. Bill of lading. Type of trucking and equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles). Roll-off truck. Truck or equipment experience: Garbage truck. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Physically demanding. Sitting. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Hard hat.
