Working closely with the provincial learning specialist for the online course unit and other colleagues, the successful candidate will coordinate day-to-day activities related to online course development, effective communication with stakeholders and the management of operational tasks. The employee responsible for online course development will be tasked with guiding the process of online educational content creation. Responsibilities will include initial needs assessment, project plan approval, development schedule coordination and creative content monitoring. This person will also supervise a development team. The position offers an exciting opportunity to help ensure online learning at the high school level is accessible and effective while fostering a culture of inclusion and cooperation.Developing online courses Participating in the improvement and development of the Clic platform Managing and tracking the team's operational tasks and educational support materials Reviewing and coordinating changes to the various courses offered through the Clic platformWho you are You will need to demonstrate a high level of organization, communication and time management to guarantee all tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner. In addition, you must have a good understanding of the tools and technologies used for online courses. You are independent but like working with a team. You are able to adapt quickly and pay attention to detail, and innovation and continuous improvement are important to you. You are able to solve problems creatively and are focussed on meeting deadlines.Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following: Need to have (their essential skills and qualifications) A master's degree in Education and a minimum of six (6) years' teaching experience in an inclusive K?12 public education system OR a bachelor's degree in Education and a minimum of seven (7) years' related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Knowledge of spoken and written French is required.
