Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. Work site environment: Noisy. Work setting: Commercial. Industrial. Tasks: Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity . Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and projects. Train or arrange for training. Prepare bids. Estimate costs and materials. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Supervision: 3-4 people. Refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade Certification. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding.
