Job details
Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Certify seed crops. Collect samples from plants or products. Enforce government acts and regulations . Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Explain required standards to agricultural workers . Inspect agricultural products. Inspect products to detect harmful diseases, chemical residues, or infestations. Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports. Oversee the quarantine, treatment or destruction of plants and plant products. Prepare reports. Route agricultural samples to laboratories for microbiological assessment, ingredient verification, or other testing. Investigate consumer and trade complaints. Take emergency actions, such as closing production facilities, if product safety is compromised. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.- Location 26 Queen StreetWeyburn, SKS4H 3J9
