Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Private contractors. Various locations. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads and public grounds. Dig ditches and trenches. Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck. Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment. Assist skilled tradespersons. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes and hand tampers. Sweep debris and remove snow from streets, sidewalks, building grounds and other areas, and load snow and debris into carts or trucks. Equipment and machinery experience: Power mowers. Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling.
