Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Viticulture. Dusty. Outdoors. Tree and orchard fruit. Work setting: Staff accommodation available. Staff accommodation provided. Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Shear and shape trees and plants with knife. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Supervision: 5-10 people. Type of crops: Apples. Cherries. Grapes.
