Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Area of Specialization: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Work Setting: Consulting firm. Specific Skills: Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems. Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures. Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs. Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems. Design power plants, machines and equipment. Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems. Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance. Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Tight deadlines. Work Location Information: Willing to relocate.- LocationSurrey, BC
