Job requirements




College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
or equivalent experience

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

First Aid Certificate


Experience an asset

Specific Skills
Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs; Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts; Ensure health and safety regulations are followed; Assist clients/guests with special needs; Schedule activities, keep logs, maintain records and prepare reports
Experience with Special Needs Children
Children with an intellectual disability; Children with behavioural issues; Children with learning disabilities; Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or attention deficit disorder (ADD); Children with Down syndrome
Additional Skills
Leading/instructing groups; Prepare reports; Leading/instructing individuals
