College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

Certified Technician (C.Tech.); Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification


3 years to less than 5 years

Specific Skills
Remove and replace defective parts; Repair and adjust system components; Install new measuring instruments; Inspect and test operation of instruments and systems; Determine testing and maintenance procedures; Calibrate components and instruments
Additional Skills
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work; Logical approach for troubleshooting; Read and interpret blueprints
