CPR Certificate; Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate; Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Certificate; Mental health first aid Certificate; Behaviour management Certification; Developmental services worker¿(DSW)¿Training; Emergency child care first aid and CPR; Intensive behavioural intervention Certification; Understanding and managing aggressive behaviour (UMAB) course


3 years to less than 5 years

Specific Skills
Obtain information and prepare reports or case histories; Conduct follow-up assessments; Resolve conflict situations; Supervise children's visits with parents to ensure their safety; Implement behaviour management programs; Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs; Assist clients/guests with special needs; Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients; Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
